OAKtober regional oak map

Each tree entered into the Large Oak Competition has its location entered on this online map. You can interact with it so learn more about oaks in Silverton.  You can see an image of most trees by clicking on the tree and snowflake icons on the map.




Notice the distribution and concentration of large oaks across the city. There are large areas without mapped oaks, but this doesn't necessarily reflect an actual lack of oaks in these neighborhoods.

While this map has over 100 oaks, there are hundreds more to add; we need your HELP documenting and mapping the oaks of Silverton and the surrounding region.
